Your Tailored DeSantisEarthSense Program
Your DeSantisEarthSense program will be uniquely tailored to your landscape. It starts with micro-climates, plant mix and soil analysis. Based on these findings, we’ll design your program to employ efficient use of water. We may introduce more native or drought-resistant plants, grasses and trees to your landscape. In all cases, we’ll use organic top dressing AND an on-going program of “compost tea” applications that naturally revitalize soil, increases the vibrancy of plants and creates a naturally robust landscape.

The “Compost Tea” Difference*
*This important part of the DeSantisEarthSense program involves the use of aerated compost tea. Aerated compost tea is an organic aqueous solution of microbes and soluble nutrients extracted from compost and propagated through active feeding and aeration. In the DeSantisEarthSense program, each application of compost tea is “tuned” for soil type and plant mix. Over time, plants and lawns grow to their full, vibrant potential to the extent that they exclude competing or damaging pests, molds and funguses. The plants begin to produce their own natural defenses (antibiosis). In many cases, the compost teas can actually be tuned to naturally eliminate invading pathogens (pathogen predation).
